About Carolina Canvas

Carolina Canvas prints have won countless photography contests, but some of our best work gets rave reviews in living rooms and bedrooms all over the country.

Carolina Canvas is a family business operation that began in 2006 with fine art reproduction. Because of our knowledge of printing and color matching, we soon had photographers asking for help with colors, shading and general Photoshop techniques. Years later, we still think that it’s much more fun to make a photograph look great, than it is to match colors in paintings. We’re a family business and our price, quality and dedication to photographers continues to keep us ahead of the curve.

What Makes Carolina Canvas Better?
We don’t just size your photo and hit print. We study each photo’s color, sharpness, and details to make sure to bring out the best in each one. Any professional photographer will tell you, they always make adjustments before printing. We know how to make those adjustments and will bring out the best in your photo.

The Carolina Canvas Process:
We start by ensuring that your photo sizes correctly. If substantial cropping is required, we’ll send you a cropped proof in e-mail. If there is a problem with the size or enlargement, we’ll give you a call and talk about the best options for your photo. If you need more specific refinement, we can mail you an 8x10 proof.

Next, we get to a natural color integrity. This makes sure that your photo has only true, natural color. Eliminating false tints or shades will render natural skin tones and vibrant color. This feature is done by hand and a highly trained eye for color. It also makes your photo a one of a kind print that can’t be reproduced anywhere else.

We then print your photo on the best fine art photography printer in the world. Twelve color archival pigment ink. The canvas is made for photography! Archival, museum linen canvas who’s quality is unmatched worldwide.

This is how the big boys print – best color on the best canvas.

Your canvas is then machine stretched on your choice of 3/4” or 1.5” stretcher bars. Smaller canvases are finished with a backing and hangar; larger ones are left open in order for more humidity to flow through the canvas fiber.

Add our solid wood floating frame to really give it extra depth and contrast.

We don’t want people to tell you that it’s a good picture, we want them to say Holy Cow!
